Directions

  1. Put the eggs, sugar, margarine, flour, milk and lemon zest in a blender and mix everything well.
  2. When you get a homogeneous batter, place it in a greased with butter and sprinkled with flour pie pan.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 170ºC or 340ºF until golden brown (about 40 minutes)  or to taste.
  4. Once cold, unmold and sprinkle with the powdered sugar and cinnamon powder and  decorate with the lemon slices.

Recipe Tips

Ensure that your eggs are at room temperature before mixing; this helps in creating a smoother batter and better incorporation of ingredients.
When measuring flour, spoon it into the measuring cup and level it off with a knife instead of scooping directly from the bag, which can lead to using too much flour and a denser tart.
For a richer flavor, consider substituting half of the margarine with unsalted butter and adding a tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice to the mixture; this will enhance the tart's lemon flavor and overall texture.
