Tips for Success

For perfectly grilled salmon, make sure to preheat your grill to medium-high heat. This ensures a nice sear and prevents the fish from sticking. Additionally, oil the grill grates lightly before placing the salmon fillets to further reduce sticking.

To enhance the vinaigrette, use a combination of different vinegars like balsamic and red wine vinegar instead of just one type. This adds depth of flavor. Also, consider adding a teaspoon of Dijon mustard to the vinaigrette for a subtle kick and better emulsification.

Avoid overcooking the salmon by checking for doneness at around 4-6 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Salmon is perfectly cooked when it flakes easily with a fork and still has a slight translucency in the center.
