Frequently Asked Questions

Can I substitute the whole milk with a non-dairy milk alternative?

Yes, you can substitute whole milk with a non-dairy milk alternative such as almond milk, soy milk, or oat milk. Just ensure that the substitute is unsweetened to maintain the flavor balance in the tart.

How should I store the leftover tart?

Store the leftover lemon and orange tart in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It should be good for up to 3 days. If you want to enjoy it later, consider wrapping it tightly in plastic wrap before refrigerating.

What should I do if my tart doesn't set properly after baking?

If your tart doesn't set properly, it may need to bake longer. Check for doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean when inserted in the center. If underbaked, return it to the oven and check every 5 minutes until set.
