  2. Heat it stirring constantly, until it boils and it thickens.
  3. Grease a pan, with a removable bottom, approximately 20 cm in diameter, with butter.
  4. Place Maria biscuits covering the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add some of chocolate mixture on top of the biscuits.
  6. Add more biscuits and alternate with cream until you reach the top, finally finish with chocolate cream.
  7. Place in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
  8. Unmold and garnish with crushed Maria Biscuits.

Recipe Tips

Make sure to gently melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or in short bursts in the microwave to prevent it from seizing; overcooking can lead to a grainy texture.
For a richer flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a tablespoon of coffee to the chocolate mixture before combining with the condensed milk.
Avoid using stale Maria biscuits by checking the expiration date; fresh biscuits will provide a better texture and flavor, and also ensure they hold up well during assembly.
