Frequently Asked Questions
Can I substitute the pork chops with another type of meat?
Yes, you can use chicken breasts or thighs instead of pork chops. Keep in mind that cooking times may vary; chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
How can I store leftover pork chops and marinade?
Leftover pork chops can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The marinade can also be stored separately in the fridge for up to a week. Reheat the pork chops in a pan over medium heat to retain their juiciness.
What if my pork chops are tough after cooking?
If your pork chops turn out tough, it might be due to overcooking. Always use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach 145°F (63°C) for optimal tenderness. For a future reference, consider marinating them longer or using a meat tenderizer before cooking.

If there isn't any marinade left, you should not add additional sauce or lemon juice Mark, you can however fry the potatoes in the olive oil you friend the pork chops in, it will still contain a lot of flavor.
