Recipe Tips

To achieve perfectly crispy fried shrimp, ensure that the shrimp are thoroughly dried with paper towels after peeling, as excess moisture can lead to soggy shrimp.
For a vibrant flavor, consider adding a splash of lime juice to the marinade made from honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. This will enhance the dish's brightness and balance the sweetness of the honey.
Avoid overcrowding the pan when frying the shrimp; this can lower the oil temperature and cause the shrimp to steam instead of fry. Fry in batches if necessary, maintaining a consistent temperature throughout the cooking process.
