Recipe Tips

When mixing the cornstarch with the milk, ensure you dissolve the cornstarch completely in a small amount of cold milk before adding it to the rest of the milk. This prevents lumps from forming in your porridge.
For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the milk mixture before cooking, as it helps to enhance the sweetness of the sugar and the flavor of the lemon peel.
Avoid overcooking the porridge after adding the egg yolks. Once you incorporate them, cook the mixture on low heat and stir continuously for just a couple of minutes to prevent the eggs from scrambling.

How could I cut this recipe? I'm the only one who will eat this in our home. I love it, but sadly no one else does.
