  2. Add a generous serving of olive oil in a large frying pan.
  3. Add the garlic cloves with the peel and the chilli peppers.
  4. Fry the shrimp, turning them over until they are well fried.
  5. Once they are fried, place them on a tray and set aside.
  6. Lower the heat and add the beer, the whiskey and the paprika.
  7. Stir well and boil for 3 minutes, always on low heat.
  8. Drizzle the shrimp with the sauce and lemon juice, to taste.
  9. Mix them well so they absorb all the flavor.

Recipe Tips

Ensure the shrimp are properly deveined and peeled before cooking; this enhances flavor and makes for a better texture. If using frozen shrimp, thaw them in the fridge overnight or under cold running water before preparation.
When mixing the beer and whiskey marinade, allow the shrimp to marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors, but avoid marinating for too long (more than 2 hours) as the alcohol can start to 'cook' the shrimp.
Be cautious with the olive oil temperature; if it smokes, it can impart a bitter flavor. Aim for medium heat to achieve a golden-brown color without burning the garlic and spices.
