  1.  In a container that has a lid, season the chicken wings with salt, the garlic powder, piri-piri sauce, cayenne pepper, black pepper, olive oil and 1/4 lemon juice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I substitute piri-piri sauce with something else?

Yes, if you don't have piri-piri sauce, you can substitute it with a combination of hot sauce and a dash of lemon juice for acidity. Alternatively, you can use sriracha or any other spicy sauce you prefer.

How should I store leftover chicken wings?

Leftover chicken wings can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. To reheat, place them in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10-15 minutes until heated through.

What should I do if my chicken wings are not browning or caramelizing in the oven?

If your chicken wings are not browning, ensure your oven is properly preheated to the correct temperature. You can also try increasing the oven temperature slightly or using the broil setting for the last few minutes of cooking to promote browning.

Beer

Portuguese: Super Bock - This popular lager offers a smooth, crisp finish that pairs well with the spicy and buttery elements of the wings.
