Recipe Tips

For the best flavor, marinate the shrimp in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, and a pinch of salt for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This enhances the shrimp's natural sweetness and infuses them with flavor.
When cooking the shrimp, avoid overcooking them. Cook just until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Overcooking can make them tough and chewy.
If you're using saffron, ensure you steep it in a small amount of warm water or broth for about 10 minutes before adding it to the dish. This releases its flavor and color more effectively than just adding it dry.
