How should I store leftovers of this shrimp and bread soup?
To store leftovers, allow the soup to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, you can freeze the soup for up to 2 months. When reheating, add a little water if the soup has thickened.
What can I do if my soup is too salty?
If your soup turns out too salty, you can balance the flavor by adding additional water or a bit of unsalted broth. To absorb excess salt, you might also add a small peeled potato while cooking, then remove it before serving.
