Creamy and Delicious Seafood Pasta Recipe

Indulge in this creamy and delicious seafood pasta recipe, packed with tender shrimp, and mussels in a deliciously savory tomato-garlic sauce!

Ingredients

500 grams (1.1 lbs) elbow pasta1 kg (2.2 lbs) mussels1 onion, finely chopped3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped250 grams (8.8 oz) shrimp meat (80/100 count)250 grams (8.8 oz) crab meat1 tablespoon tomato paste1 small pack of tomato passata with oregano and basil1 tablespoon garlic powderSalt, to tasteOlive oil, as neededWater, as neededWater, as needed

Directions

  1. Just before cooking, rinse the mussels in a bowl with water and salt to help release the sand. Wash them thoroughly.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped onion and garlic until they turn translucent.
  3. Add the tomato paste and a bit of the tomato passata. Let it cook for a few minutes.
  4. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and season with salt and garlic powder.
  5. When the pasta is nearly cooked, add the mussels, shrimp, and crab meat. Stir everything together.
  6. Add more water if needed for extra sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander or parsley.
