Recipe Tips

To enhance the richness of the dish, consider marinating the chicken and pork in a mixture of olive oil, minced garlic, and a pinch of saffron for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This will infuse more flavor into the meats.
When adding the seafood, ensure that the mussels and clams are added during the last 10 minutes of cooking to prevent overcooking. Shrimp cooks quickly, so add it just 5 minutes before serving to maintain its tender texture.
Avoid using too much broth; stick to the 4 cups specified. If you add too much liquid, the rice can become mushy. If you find the rice is still undercooked at the end of the cooking time, add just a little bit of broth as needed, rather than pouring in extra all at once.
