Frequently Asked Questions

Can I substitute the bread with a different type?

Yes, you can use other types of bread such as brioche, challah, or even gluten-free bread. Just ensure the bread is thick enough to absorb the milk without falling apart.

How should I store leftover Rabanadas?

Store any leftover Rabanadas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in a skillet over low heat or in a toaster oven until warmed through.

What can I do if my Rabanadas are soggy after frying?

To prevent sogginess, ensure you do not soak the bread for too long in the milk, and make sure the oil is hot enough before frying. Fry in smaller batches to maintain the oil temperature.
