Ingredients

2 lbs of plums, peeled, pit removed and cut into pieces1 and 1/2 cups of sugar1 cinnamon stick1 lemon peel

Get Portuguese ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, add all the ingredients and heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until you get the desired consistency.
  2. Remove the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel, and use a hand blender to blend everything.
  3. Add the jam into air tight glass jars, allow to cool completely and close tightly.
