Comforting Portuguese Chicken Soup (Canja de Galinha) Recipe

Savor the warmth of Portuguese chicken soup, a simple, traditional canja de galinha made with tender chicken, pasta, and fresh parsley.

Ingredients

1/2 chickenSmall pasta (to taste)1 onion, choppedParsley (to taste)Water (to taste)Salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. Cook the chicken in the water with salt, onion and parsley.
  2. When the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pan and add the pasta.
  3. Shred the chicken and when the pasta is cooked, add it to the pan with the pasta.
  4. Turn off the stove and serve.
