Tips for Success

To enhance the flavor of the rice, toast it in the olive oil for 2-3 minutes before adding the broth. This will give the rice a nuttier flavor and better texture.

If you want to add more depth to the dish, consider adding a teaspoon of smoked paprika or cumin during the cooking process. This will give the dish a warm, smoky flavor that complements the beans and rice beautifully.

Avoid overcooking the rice by checking for doneness a few minutes before the suggested cooking time. The rice should be tender but still have a slight bite (al dente). If you overcook it, you risk ending up with mushy rice.
