Recipe Tips

For optimal flavor, marinate the pork or veal steak in a mixture of minced garlic, salt, pepper, and white wine for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This will help tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
When frying the steak, ensure your pan is hot enough so that the margarine sizzles upon contact. This will create a nice sear on the steak, locking in juices and enhancing flavor. Avoid overcrowding the pan, which can cause steaming instead of frying.
Common mistake: Don't skip resting the cooked steak! After frying, let it rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
