Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, put the fruit, some sugar (to taste) and vodka, stir well and place it in the refrigerator for about an hour.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients, mix everything together and adjust the sugar if necessary (to taste).
  3. Serve ice cold.

Recipe Tips

To enhance the flavor of your sangria, allow the fruit to macerate in the vodka for at least 30 minutes before adding the wine and soda. This will help the fruit release its juices and infuse the drink with more flavor.
For a more vibrant color and flavor, consider adding a splash of orange juice or a few slices of fresh orange to your sangria. This can also balance the acidity of the limes and create a more complex taste.
Avoid adding the 7 Up too early; instead, mix it in just before serving to maintain the fizz. If you add it too soon, the carbonation will dissipate, leading to a flat drink.
