Frequently Asked Questions

Can I substitute the Madeiran wine with another type of wine?

Yes, you can substitute Madeiran wine with a dry sherry or even a red wine, depending on your flavor preference. Just keep in mind that the taste may vary slightly based on the wine you choose.

What is the best way to store leftovers of the marinated beef skewers?

Store any leftover skewers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If you want to keep them longer, you can freeze them for up to 2-3 months. Make sure to label the container and thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.

What should I do if my beef skewers are tough after cooking?

If your skewers are tough, it may be due to overcooking the meat. Always ensure that your grill or BBQ is preheated and cook the beef to medium-rare or medium for the best tenderness. Additionally, marinating the beef for a longer duration can help tenderize it.
