A simple & easy recipe that makes a delicious Portuguese coffee liqueur. This is a drink usually enjoyed after a good meal.

Ingredients

6 cups of strong coffee2 lbs. of sugar4 cups of pure alcohol
6 cups of strong coffee2 lbs. of sugar4 cups of pure alcohol
Get Portuguese ingredients

Instructions

 Place the filtered coffee in a saucepan with sugar and boil until it until it becomes thick.
2) Remove it from the heat and while still warm add alcohol.
3) Cool and then filter it.
4) Filter a second time and transfer to a decanter.
5) Serve immediately or let it cool and server later.
