Frequently Asked Questions

What can I use instead of sugar in this recipe?

You can substitute sugar with honey or agave syrup, but note that this may alter the texture and sweetness level of the final product. You can also use a sugar substitute like Stevia or Erythritol, keeping in mind the conversion ratio as specified on the product packaging.

How should I store the pineapple kisses after making them?

After forming the pineapple kisses and allowing them to set, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Ensure they are placed in a single layer to prevent sticking.

What should I do if the pineapple mixture doesn’t thicken properly?

If the mixture doesn’t thicken, continue to cook it over medium heat while stirring frequently. If it's still too runny after 10-15 minutes, you can add a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with a little water to the mixture and cook for a few more minutes until it thickens.
