Frequently Asked Questions
Can I substitute ground beef with another type of meat for the meatballs?
Yes, you can substitute ground beef with ground turkey, chicken, or pork. Keep in mind that different meats may alter the flavor and moisture content of the meatballs, so you may need to adjust seasoning accordingly.
What is the best way to store leftover meatballs and sauce?
Allow the meatballs to cool completely, then store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, you can freeze the meatballs and sauce together for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
My meatballs fell apart while frying. What did I do wrong?
Meatballs can fall apart if the mixture is too wet or lacks binding agents. Make sure to use enough breadcrumbs and consider adding an egg to help bind the mixture. Additionally, avoid overcrowding the pan while frying, as this can lower the temperature and cause the meatballs to break apart.
