Quick & Creamy Maria Biscuit Pudding Recipe

Quick and creamy Maria biscuit pudding recipe, a dreamy blend of coffee, caramel, and crunch that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

1 liter semi-skimmed milk (34 fl oz) 3 eggs1 tablespoon instant coffee2 packets pudding mix (3.5 oz/100g), fllavor to taste20 Maria biscuits (or plain tea cookies), crushed

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the milk and crushed Maria biscuits.
  2. Let them sit for a few minutes to soften.
  3. Separately, dissolve the pudding mix in a small amount of the milk.
  4. Once dissolved, add it to the biscuit-milk mixture.
  5. Add the sugar, eggs, and instant coffee.
  6. Use a blender to mix everything until smooth and well combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan.
  8. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens to a custard-like consistency.
  9. Pour the mixture into a caramel-coated mold (pre-greased with caramel sauce).
  10. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for several hours until set.
  11. Once fully chilled and set, unmold onto a serving plate.
  12. Decorate as desired, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of crushed biscuits work beautifully.
