Ingredients
1 1/2 cups (300 g) sugar1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flourZest of 1 lemon5 tbsp (75 g) butter, melted2 cups (500 ml) milk3 large eggs
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Combine the sugar, flour, lemon zest, melted butter, milk, and eggs in a blender and process until completely smooth or whisk vigorously by hand until no lumps remain.
- Grease and flour twelve tart baking molds or muffin tins thoroughly to ensure easy release.
- Pour the liquid batter into the prepared molds filling them nearly to the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the tarts are set in the center and the tops have developed a deep golden color.
- Allow the tarts to cool in the molds for at least 10 minutes to firm up before carefully removing them.
