With all your ingredients and equipment gathered, you are ready to get started!

Directions

  1. Cut the peaches and melon into pieces.
  2. Let them marinate with the sliced citrus fruits (orange, lemon, and lime) in a mixture of alcohol (vodka), sugar, and cinnamon sticks, cloves, mint, and pineapple juice for at least 6 hours.
  3. This allows the flavors to blend perfectly.
  4. Refrigerate in the pitcher you'll use to serve it.
  5. Before serving, add the chilled Champagne.

Recipe Tips

To enhance the flavor, let the sangria sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving, allowing the fruits to infuse their flavors into the liquid. For best results, you can prepare it the night before.
Avoid using overly ripe fruits, as they can break down and become mushy in the sangria. Choose firm, ripe peaches and melons for a better texture and presentation.
If you prefer a less sweet sangria, reduce the sugar to 40g and taste before adding more, as the pineapple juice and fruits will also contribute natural sweetness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I substitute the Champagne with another type of sparkling wine?

Yes, you can substitute Champagne with other sparkling wines like Prosecco or Cava. They will provide a similar bubbly effect, though the flavor might vary slightly.

How long can I store leftover Sangria in the refrigerator?

Leftover Sangria can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. However, be aware that the fruits may begin to lose flavor and texture over time, and the carbonation from the Champagne may diminish.

What can I use instead of sugar if I want a lower-calorie option?

You can use sugar substitutes like agave syrup, honey, or a sugar-free sweetener like Stevia. Adjust the quantity to taste, as these substitutes may have different sweetness levels.
