Recipe Tips

When using canned pumpkin, make sure to choose 100% pure pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling, which contains added spices and sugars that can alter the flavor and texture of your Pumpkin Dreams.
For a richer flavor, consider toasting the flour in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few minutes before mixing it into the batter. This enhances the nutty notes and complements the pumpkin and spices beautifully.
Avoid overmixing the batter once the flour is added; mix just until combined to keep the texture light and fluffy. Overmixing can lead to dense and tough Pumpkin Dreams.
