Golden and Moist Honey Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup milk
2 cups light brown sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
5 eggs
1 teaspoon fennel seeds (ground)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Lemon zest, to taste
1 Bundt cake pan
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Grease and dust the cake pan with flour.
Beat the eggs with the brown sugar until fluffy.
Add the honey, olive oil, fennel, lemon zest, and cinnamon and mix well.
Pour in the milk and mix again until smooth.
Gradually add the flour and baking powder, folding it in until fully incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (about 40 to 45 minutes).
