Creamy and Delicious Seafood Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
500 grams (1.1 lbs) elbow pasta
1 kg (2.2 lbs) clams
350 grams (12.3 oz) cooked mussels
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
250 grams (8.8 oz) shrimp meat (80/100 count)
250 grams (8.8 oz) crab meat
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 small pack of tomato passata with oregano and basil
1 tablespoon garlic powder
Salt, to taste
Olive oil, as needed
Water, as needed
Preparation
A few hours before cooking, place the live clams in a bowl with water and salt to help release the sand. Wash them thoroughly.
In a large pot, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped onion and garlic until they turn translucent.
Add the tomato paste and a bit of the tomato passata. Let it cook for a few minutes.
Pour in water and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and season with salt and garlic powder.
When the pasta is nearly cooked, add the clams, mussels, shrimp, and crab meat. Stir everything together.
Add more water if needed for extra sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander or parsley.
